Union Eléctrica choose new logo

Neus Fort

Unión Eléctrica has selected a winning logo to be used for their new corporate identity. The successful Colombian business group chose the idea produced by Neus Fort, a Catalonian designer within a week of their pitch closing.

Neus specialises in graphic design, advertising and web design and has her own studio - Factory Comunicació Integral - in Figueres (l' Alt Empordà), Catalonia. After receiving the 1,640 USD award which also covers a Perpetual idea license she said: “I am very happy. I think winning an international contest is every designer’s dream. Being the winner of the Grupo Unión logo pitch makes me feel complete”.

The Union Eléctrica brief asked our creative community to produce a new corporate identity and its applications for their ten different business units. In just two weeks 70 ideas were submitted in response to their brief, which fulfilled the client’s expectations.

The client stated: “We think OpenAd.net is definitely an original idea, an updated vision of how advertising should be handled in the future. We wanted to try it out and the results we got widely exceeded our expectations. We are convinced that we will go on buying ideas this way. I highly recommend OpenAd to advertising and marketing people in Colombia and from all over the world.”
